Payment Processing:

  • QuickBooks Pay (Intuit Inc.) processes all payments, including credit card and ACH bank transfers. Your payment information is transmitted directly to QuickBooks Pay and is never stored on our servers. QuickBooks Pay’s privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

File Storage & Delivery:

  • Google Drive is used to deliver design files, store project materials you provide (such as manuscripts and cover files), and share deliverables with you. Google’s privacy policy applies to data stored on their platform.

Email Communications:

  • We use the newsletter service provider Beehiiv to send newsletters, project updates, and service communications. Your email address and name are stored with this provider. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Website Hosting:

  • Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider who maintains the servers where our site and data reside.

Digital Product Sales:

  • Etsy processes sales of our pre-made Canva template products. Etsy collects buyer information and processes payments independently according to its own privacy policy.

Analytics:

  • We may use website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. These tools collect anonymized or aggregated data about site traffic and user behavior.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.


How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:

Active Clients: We keep your contact information, project details, and communication history for the duration of our business relationship.

Past Clients: After project completion, we retain:

  • Contact information and project records for 2 years to facilitate potential future work, answer questions about past projects, and provide file retrieval services if needed
  • Financial records (invoices, payment information) for 7 years as required by IRS regulations for tax purposes
  • Design files and deliverables for 2 years (as outlined in our Terms & Conditions)

Email Subscribers: We keep your email address until you unsubscribe from our mailing list.

Inquiries: Contact information from inquiries that don’t result in projects may be retained for up to 1 year for follow-up and business development purposes.

After these retention periods, your information is securely deleted or anonymized. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
